Welcome to UFGW's Newest Campaign
From Public Service to Public Power
We have talented Georgia candidates. Now we're training displaced federal workers and building winning campaign teams.
We have talented Georgia candidates. Now we're training displaced federal workers and building winning campaign teams.
Georgia has no shortage of talented candidates, but campaigns can’t win without strong teams. Too often, staffers are underpaid, undervalued, and undertrained, leaving even the best candidates at a disadvantage.
Trump’s assault on federal workers, especially at science-based agencies like the CDC, displaced thousands of skilled, mission-driven professionals. Instead of being silenced, they’re ready to fight back—bringing expertise in management, communications, research, and data.
From Public Service to Public Power (FPS2PP) recruits these public servants and equips them to run winning campaigns with training in fundraising, field organizing, data, digital strategy, and opposition research. Graduates are placed into Georgia’s most competitive races, where their skills can mean the difference between victory and defeat.
This is more than training—it’s building a long-term pipeline of campaign leaders who will power progressive victories for the next decade.
But we need your help to fund their salaries.
FPS2PP is a unique opportunity to support Democratic candidates AND help displaced federal workers build strategic campaigns, restore their livelihoods, and reclaim what Trump took away.
Last cycle, UFGW raised over $500,000 to directly support our Georgia state house candidates. This year, we’re aiming even higher with a goal to double that amount so we can pay competitive staff salaries and give our candidates the professional support they need to win.
Your donation doesn’t just fuel campaigns—it invests in the people who power them.
Please join us. Together, we can turn public service into public power.
